Strange days indeed around the Salvation Army, Hickory, North Carolina
Old Yeller’ brush or dried up yellow shrubs that North Carolina’s ‘rainy season did not fix,
5:15 am on Saturday morning,
Trees of evergreen green behind the shrub in a triangular pattern – like the Bermuda triangle
And the sound of silence permeated by SCREEEEEEEEECH!
“What was that?” I said while walking down the path but not over the field and through the woods to a strange “grandmother’s house’ or lair.
This grandma’s house is haunted by something.
What could it be?
“Screeeeeeeeech” sounds like a large bat – crying in the dark. The sound was exactly that. This strange animal lurking there, as yet uninvestigated by me, seems to be protective of the Salvation Army periphery property.
Will we ever find out who or what “Screeeeeeeeech” is?
More will be revealed.
P.S. – In case you were wondering – The study of “Bats” could be a Fullbright category. Why not check out the Fullbright sites for more information – since you are already online? 🙂
